Transit Time within United States of America: In general, domestic standard shipments are in transit for 2–4 business days. We ship priority mail so you can expect your package to be delivered quickly.
Transit time rest of world: Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 3 – 5 business days. Transit times vary by destination region, with typical ranges being: Europe at 3-5 business days, Middle East at 4-7 business days, and Oceania at 5-7 business days. Factors affecting delivery time include customs processing, local postal services, and seasonal delays.
Countries we are currently able to ship to include: Canada, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, United States, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, Sweden, Hungary, Romania, Brazil, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Australia, Germany, Norway, Austria, Switzerland.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase for international orders. All domestic orders include free standard shipping.
Dangerous Goods: Please note perfume is classified as “Dangerous Goods” and requires additional paperwork and checks, which can lead to orders being delayed by Customs. If they require any further information, they will contact NAPOLEON Fragrances directly. Customs Clearance will take 48hrs to process and continue its journey.
Customs Tax and Duties: NAPOLEON Fragrances is not responsible for Customs Tax, Duties, Tariffs, VAT, Handling Fees or Customs Clearance Charges required by your country for importing goods from the USA. You, the buyer is ultimately responsible to clear these charges, which vary as per your country of residence. If for any reason, the customs fees and charges are refused, the order will be returned back to NAPOLEON Fragrances and you will not receive a refund for the charges. The shipping costs that are calculated at checkout for Standard International Shipping orders do not include the estimated Customs Tax, Duties and VAT.
All orders are shipped DAP (Delivered At Place). This means that you (the recipient) are responsible for any import duties, VAT, and customs clearance fees upon delivery in your country. These taxes are not included in your order total. Please check your country’s import rules before purchasing so there are no surprises.
Order Processing: All orders are processed from the USA during normal business hours.Any order placed after 5:30 PM Eastern Time on Thursday will be processed on the following Monday, excluding holidays. Orders placed before 5:30 PM Eastern Time Thursday will be processed the same business day. Napoleon is not open on weekends and Holidays. If your order is placed during this period, please allow for additional delivery time.
Our warehouse operates on Monday – Thursday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.
Tracking Notifications: Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link via email from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider. We recommend monitoring your package's journey and ensuring someone is available to receive it on the estimated delivery date.
Identification - Some countries require ID to release perfume from Customs. Please ensure your ID number is input at checkout for the following countries: Italy - CodiceFiscale
Delays: On rare occasions, we may experience delays due to the number of orders being processed. Extended lead times for shipping are imposed by our delivery partners, including and not limited to DHL, FedEx, USPS and UPS.
Cancellations: If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched.
Successful Deliveries: A delivery is considered successful when the shipping carrier marks the package as "Delivered" to the address provided at checkout. Our system automatically records this delivery confirmation.
Missing Deliveries:
While we take great care in packaging and shipping your perfumes:
- We cannot assume responsibility for packages that show a confirmed delivery scan at the correct address you provided
- We are not liable for packages left unattended at your delivery location
- Proof of delivery from the carrier constitutes successful completion of our shipping obligation
Shipping Carrier Claims:
If your package is marked as delivered but not received:
- The customer must file a claim directly with the shipping carrier
- Provide the carrier with all relevant tracking information
- Follow their specific procedures for investigating missing deliveries
- Keep us informed of any communications with the carrier
Potential Resolutions:
Based on the carrier's investigation:
- If the carrier determines the package was misdelivered, we will work with you on a replacement
- If the carrier confirms correct delivery, our responsibility for the shipment is fulfilled
